A striking pair of desk lamps by Stilux Milano, dating to the 1950s. Executed in painted metal and brass, these lamps embody the elegant balance of form and function characteristic of Italian mid-century lighting design. The lamp shade is adaptable and movable. Each lamp features a sharply conical shade in pale yellow colour, perforated along the upper rim to diffuse light subtly, mounted on an articulated brass arm and counterbalanced by a sculptural, black-lacquered metal base. The design captures the dynamic, aerodynamic spirit of postwar Italian modernism, combining sculptural tension with refined technical craftsmanship. They feature European plug and twisted cable.
